This is a procedure in which our doctors use specialized tools to examine and operate on hollow organs, cavities or vessels in the body. We provide both upper gastro intestinal endoscopy and lower gastro intestinal endoscopy.

Endoscopy is highly useful in helping our doctors determine the cause of some symptoms such as difficulty in swallowing, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, chronic diarrhoea, blood in stools, constipation, irritable bowel syndrome, unexplained weight loss, or unusual bowel habits.

It can identify little anomalies like ulcers, tumors and inflammations, and permit our doctors to observe growths in order to determine whether they are benign or cancerous for timely action.

Through minimally invasive surgery, endoscopy can be used to treat some conditions like the removal of benign growths or stop bleeding in both the upper and lower digestive system. It can also be used to remove small samples of tissue or biopsy for examination.

The procedure is painless and has a short recovery timespan.
